Pointe Shoe Fitting

Here at The Dancer’s Room we take our role as

pointe shoe fitters very seriously.

All our pointe shoe fitters are specially trained and regularly attend fitting seminars and manufacture events to ensure their knowledge is as up to date as possible. Combined with having fitted many, many, shoe brands and styles and experienced a vast range of feet and dancing ability, we believe we offer a truly expert pointe shoe fitting service.

It goes without saying that every dancer wants their pointe shoes to look beautiful on their feet but we are also mindful of a dancer’s foot health and successful development of pointe work technique. We are hugely supportive of getting young dancers up on pointe but we will always be honest when it comes to the choice and fit of a shoe.

To be able to provide an excellent pointe shoe fitting service for all of our customers, we invest in stocking a large range of brands and sizes. This means that we can accommodate different foot shapes, dancer abilities and class or performance requirements.

Purchasing pointe shoes is certainly an investment and we understand that it can be quite a financial commitment to dance en pointe. As a thank you for choosing The Dancer’s Room for your fittings we run a Pointe Shoe Loyalty Scheme where customers receive 30% off every third pair of shoes purchased (subject to a maximum purchase gap of 36 months) – hooray!

We would love you to visit for a pointe shoe fitting. Please do book in advance to avoid disappointment, as we can get very busy especially on a Saturday. You can make an appointment by giving us a call during opening hours on 01543 415014 or Book Online.
