Dancing En Pointe
Dancing en pointe is one of the most iconic elements of ballet but unsurprisingly we are not anatomically designed to stand on our toes, that’s why we take our role as pointe shoe fitters extremely seriously.
For us, every day is a school day, so we’re constantly listening to feedback and learning from dancers and teachers and have a close working relationship with manufacturers to ensure we know about the latest in pointe shoe design and technology. Over the last 10 years we have tried and tested many brands and styles of pointe shoes.
Every dancer’s foot is different which is why we offer a wide range of styles, sizes and widths in different brands. We stock Bloch, Freed, Gaynor Minden, Grishko, Merlet, R Class and Russian Pointe – some of which also come in different shank strengths. We also stock a selection of demi pointes (soft blocks) and a huge selection of pointe shoe accessories.
We believe that every dancer is an individual, whether you are new to pointe or a seasoned professional, we can help you find a pair of pointe shoes that really suits your needs, ability and physiology. We look forward to meeting you!
